The rise of concrete jungle
New Cairo’s forests are being rapidly replaced with concrete jungles. Towering skyscrapers are filling the sky. There has been no objection to this deforestation, thus, the pace of building development is continuing to rise.
Unfortunately, development and advancement comes with a price. Air pollution is growing exponentially and what appears to be a blissful place today may soon be a place of nightmares.
No more history and cultural teachings?
The government is planning to eliminate the teaching of history and culture- an extreme decision that demonstrates the secular and capitalist leadership of the government.
The idea is to cut down historical texts from school curriculum and replace it with extra classes on science and mathematics. Not everyone is entirely happy with this proposal and the final decision is still pending. Stay connected to know the final decision.
Empathy- a dying trait in today's world
A series of psychological research and studies show that since people are becoming more materialistic, their well-being, relationships, autonomy and a sense of purpose is diminishing. This is both socially destructive as well as self destructive. It drives us away from empathy, happiness and peace of mind, leading to anxiety, depression and broken relationships.

The question to ponder upon is that will we get back to our senses or will the situation get even worse?
